SECA’s Secretary General Mr Edward Kway presented the SECA Book Prizes to the Top 3 Higher Nitec Electrical Engineering graduates of ITE College East at their graduation ceremony on 11th May 2023.

Congratulations to Mr Ong Wei Jie Edwin, Mr Poo Chin Yang and Mr Tay Wee Yao Edwin!  We hope you will continue to persevere, excel and contribute to our country’s electrical engineering industry!

SECA has supported the ITE Colleges through the the sponsorship of book prizes since 2018 and also through the setting up and oversight of the Work-Study Diploma in Electrical Engineering programme. This programme is the only EMA-recognised diploma outside of the Singapore and Ngee Ann Polytechnic electrical power engineering major diplomas, for graduates to be eligible to be a Licensed Electrical Technician (LEW8).
